JOB DESCRIPTION 

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. NH Teacher Certification in Mathematics Middle Level or proof of eligibility for NH Certification
2. Bachelor's degree or higher
3. Experience preferred but not required

REPORTS TO: Principal

JOB SUMMARY: Provide a high quality education program for academic and intellectual, as well as social and emotional growth of all students in which they reach their full potential. 

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: 

1. Create an enviroment of respect and rapport that establishes a culture of learning
2. Demonstrate knowledge of content areas and child development
3. Plan and deliver instruction based upon student needs and District curriculum
4. Manage classroom procedures and student behavior
5. Assess and monitor student progress on learning standards to inform instruction
6. Communicate with students and families about learning activities and progress
7. Implement 504 and IEP accommodations and modifications to meet student need
8. Collaborate with JBES and SAU9 educators to enhance best practices
9. Reflect on teaching practices and participate in ongoing professional growth
10. Demonstrate professionalism and maintain accurate records
11. Follow District policies and procedures
12. Complete other duties as assigned by the principal

EMPLOYMENT TERMS: In accordance with Bartlett Education Association (BEA) contract

EVALUATION: Performance will be evaluated by the principal or designee in accordance with District evaluation procedures.
