Position:   Kennett Middle School Athletic Facilitator (part-time)

The Athletic Facilitator will direct the co-curricular program at Kennett Middle School. This position seeks an individual with a strong knowledge of developmentally appropriate co-curricular programming in a public middle school setting.

Qualifications:

• Prior coaching experience
• Experience managing multiple programs including co-curricular athletics
• Excellent organizational and planning skills
• Strong communication skills

Duties:

• Serve as the representative for Kennett Middle School for all co-curricular programming and meetings
• Communicating with the Principal on relevant issues
• Communicating with the community regarding KMS co-curricular opportunity and activity
• Hiring, training, and supervision of coaches
• Scheduling of co-curricular events and ensuring appropriate staffing
• Submitting requisitions and budgets in a timely manner
• Meet with players and parents to resolve issues 
• Maintain inventory in good repair
• Assure that all outside fields are appropriately lined and in compliance with current rules governing play
• Communicate to the Principal any concerns relative to playing surfaces and equipment that are in need of repair, replacement, etc.
• Other responsibilities as may be assigned by the Principal
