POSITION: Board Certified Behavior Analyst
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be board certified and have BCBA status.
- 1-2 years of experience in a public school setting preferred.
JOB GOAL:
The BCBA will be an active member of students’ educational teams as directed by the Director of Special Services and Principals. The BCBA will support programming for students aged 3-21 years.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The BCBA will conduct descriptive and systemic behavioral assessments, including functional analyses, and provide behavior analytic interpretations of the results.
- The BCBA will design and supervise behavior analytic interventions. The BCBA will effectively develop and implement appropriate assessment and intervention methods.
- The BCBA will provide direct services to students.
- The BCBA will teach and supervise others to carry out ethical and effective behavior analytic interventions based on published research and designs and deliver instruction in behavior analysis.
- The BCBA will supervise others who implement behavior analytic interventions.
- The BCBA will report to district-wide administration regarding best practices in behavioral analytics and interventions in order to support consistency through the district.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: In accordance with the Conway Education Association (CEA) contract
WORK YEAR: 187 day / school year position
EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Conway School Board’s policy on Evaluation of Professional Personnel. |
