POSITION: Teacher Education Instructor

 

The Mount Washington Valley Career & Technical Center seeks an experienced teacher to lead the Child and Education Studies Program. The successful candidate will provide leadership and teaching in the area of teacher education to high school students enrolled at Kennett High School using modern educational and Career and Technical education practices and recommendations.

 

Master’s Degree preferred, NH Teacher Certification/Eligibility required.  Multiple endorsements across K-12 and/or Special Education are preferred.   Certification or SOE for Career and Technical Teacher Education required.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:           

(1)  New Hampshire Teacher certification required.

(2)  Master’s degree preferred in the area of teaching /administration/curriculum development.

(3)  Minimum of 3 years of successful teaching experience.

(4)  Such alternative to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

 

REPORTS TO: Dean of Student Programming and Career and Technical Educaiton

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: In accordance with the Conway Education Association (CEA) contract

 

WORK YEAR: 187 day / school year position

 

EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Conway School Board’s policy on Evaluation of Professional Personnel.  The principal and/or administrative designee will be the evaluator.
